Actually, he's in college, which means 18-24 (more so 20+). Which means that he doesn't have the teenager years as an excuse - he's just a whiny *****.

  • Groooove Evening, viewers!
I read this review on a site that I frequent and thought it was pretty accurate:

Quote
It was as though they had fired and hired multiple teams of writers throughout the script-writing process and none of them had read what the ones before them had written.

What was the story even about? Spider-Man's good, he's evil, he's good again... Harry is evil, he's good, he's evil, he's good again.... Guy from Wings is good, he's evil, he falls into a completely random inexplicable Laser-KitchenAid of sand, dies, comes back, dies, comes back, and now he's good again... Mary Jane loves Peter, doesn't love Peter, loves Harry, makes an omelette, doesn't love Harry, loves Peter, but might still love Harry?... Guy from Wings didn't kill Uncle Ben, did kill Uncle Ben, didn't kill Uncle Ben, didn't mean to kill Uncle Ben... Spider-Man didn't kill Harry's father, did kill Harry's father, did kill Harry, didn't kill Harry... etc.

And what's with that old butler randomly being like, "Oh hey, I forgot to tell you, Spider-Man didn't kill your father." Where was this oldster with his fell-from-the-sky plot points TWO MOVIES AGO?!

And let's all give a slow-clap for old Auntie Up-All-Night and her inspiringly cliche speech that convinces Peter to give up the black: "I believe in you. You're a good person. I know you'll make it right."

And I have some questions about the big climax, such as, why didn't anybody just spray a fire hose on the sand beast? Take him out at the knees! And how come nobody noticed this sinister plot a little sooner, such as when they were hoisting a taxi and a dump truck to the top of a skyscraper?

The long sequence of evil-Peter strutting down the sidewalk and flash-dancing around the jazz club is what really put it over the edge though. They should have just topped it off with a Ron Burgundy jazz flute solo. That way at least people would know that this was supposed to just be a dumb comedy.

Spiderman 3 sucked at least 10-15 kinds of balls.

TMNT kicked ass though.

Are you an eight year old boy? I saw it with a few friends, and I thought it was terrible through and through.

Well I wouldn't go as far as saying it "kicked ass" but in the superheromoviegenregroup it was a solid movie. Of course, superhero movie genre has been subject to atrocities like Daredevil, Catwoman, Fantastic Four, Batman&Robin, Superman Returns etc. ad infinitum.

In this company, TMNT movie is a good one. Batman Begins is better, Spider-Man 1&2 are better (still haven't seen the third...), but that's about it of the more recent comics based movies. Compared to all movies, it's more or less mediocre I have to admit. Compared to all animated movies, there are a lot of better movies and some worse.
There are three things that last forever: Abort, Retry, Fail - and the greatest of these is Fail.

What? Superman Returns was decent enough flick. Definitely much better than Daredevil, Catwoman, Fantastic Four, Batman & Robin (or any Batman movie not starring Michael Keaton until Batman Returns for that matter) but still not as good as Spiderman 1&2 or Batman Returns. I haven't seen Spiderman 3 yet so can't say much about it.

Superman's costume looks ridiculous on this age and day though. They really need to do something about it. Even Batman's costume today is very very different from what it used to be in the sixties. Seriously, red underpants on top of blue skintight gym suit?

Hmmm... I know it's animated, but what is all you guy's opinions of The Incredibles?  Kid's movie, I know... but I think it was a really good kids movie.  Prolly better than some of the oddball ones like The Fantastic Four.

The Incredibles was great. But I think it is more of a family movie and not a kids movie. Animations aren't all for kids you know. :p

Ya.. the only thing was, some of the super powers were a bit far out (stretching yourself out like taffy?!).  Other than that, ya.  The worst part about unbelievable super powers is that I like them.  *slaps self*

IMO, superman with Christoper Reeve, that was awful and not much different from the new adventures of superman. if you think that costome is rediculous, try watching the gladiators, those costumes leave nothing to the imagination.

but is true that the suits are both stupid in the moderm era
