Hehe.  Like I said before, I was trying to distance the spam from the poll.  But whatever.  And I think a little spam is actually good for a topic; it gives atmosphere.  But too much of a good thing...

I don't know about you guys, but I pretty much treat the forums as conversations with different people on different topics.  Now if you were talking with a group of friends or aquaintances, and a few of them brought up a different subject for a half a minute or so, you wouldn't mind.  But if those few totally derailed the topic of the group's conversation, then that would get annoying.  Does that sort of fit?

Although posts in this forum aren't attributed to a users post count, spam is still not allowed. This forum is for General Discussion - not the posting of polls such as this. We can all do without mindless crap clogging up our bandwidth and also these forums. I don't want to have to search through topics like this to find something worthwhile - and I'm sure a lot of other users feel likewise.

Come on guys, a lot of you have been around for quite some time. You should know better than this by now. There are plenty of worthwhile topics you could chat about, lets not resort to spam, eh?
