OT: So who's looking forward to AOTC?
The subject says it all. Who's gonna see it, what do you want in it, and how soon do you think you'll see it? It's coming out May 16th btw, which is a Thursday   I don't know why.
Most of all, I'm looking forward to Yoda busting out his lightsaber! And I think the whole romance thing might turn out to be a little corny but hey, ya gotta live with it for Star Wars! So whadda ya'll think?

Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Personally, I think the subtitle says it all. I'm not going, had I particularly liked the series from the start I'd say the new one will if anything sully the Star Wars name even more than the last. However, I only thought them OK, so I'm just avoiding it because it's gonna suck.

Maybe, but I think this one will be better than the last one. I hope anyway. I think it will cuz it'll have bigger battles, better battles, and cooler battles. I hope.

I can just imagine...

[That Jedi guy who was played by the ****head teenage actor in the last movie appears]
Jedi dude: Master! We must leave- now!
Important dude: What?
Jedi dude: They've cloned that cutesy baby-talking alien thing- 400 times!

I love Episodes IV, V, and VI with a passion. I named myself after my favorite character in the trilogy.

That doesn't stop me from saying, though, that Episode I **** **** a **** ** ****** and ****** **** ******* with a *******.

I have no idea what to expect from Episode 2.

I'll go see it after its been out for a month. I want to know if they send in a Vulture Team to clean up the clones and if Rusty the Scrubot will save the day.

I'm gonna go watch it for Boba Fett. It'll be funny to see this lil' boy as Boba and laughing cause you know the poor lil' sucker's gonna get digested by the Sarlaac.   Otherwise, I wanna see Yoda fight. I just can't imagine how it can be done!
I have returned... Again...

First off, I probably will see it, and if it's anything like Ep I, I'll find it to be mediocre.  Secondly, it's not Boba we'll be seeing, but Jango, Boba Fett's father.  Thirdly, Fett did not die in the sarlaac.  He lived, and has since continued his bounty hunting ways.  And I sure hope you weren't dissing him back there, Fett's my favorite SW char

I didn't know he didn't die, but I sure hoped he wouldn't (after reading the comics, no doubt he could have toasted the beast from the inside, if it didn't die from the explosion of jabba's ship anyway). And yeah, it's my favourite SW character too   ( and he has my favourite SW ship).

Ah, Venom.  you must be missing out on quite a few of the novels Fett has stared in.  Try looking for the Bounty Hunter SW series...eh...I think I got that name wrong...it's been at least two years since i've touched a novel not school related.  My PS2 and my computer have taken over my life.

Actually, I've missed... all the SW novels. there's none available down there in France. The few french editions are difficult to find.

I think Fett's escape from the Sarlaac can be found in the book, 'Tales from Mos Eisley'.

Yikes! Ok, let me get this straight, I AM A HUGE BOBA FETT fan!!! I swear, I got all the comics, books, a damn plastic statue and his helmet! So I wasn't dissing him there.

Secondly, Boba IS in the AOTC but as a little boy. Yes, I also know it is his father Jango who is doing all the moves in the trailer. Check out the latest behind the scenes clip at http://www.starwars.com  ! It's all about the Fetts.

Thirdly, Yes I would like to accept the fact that Boba survived the Sarlaac, cause all his adventures afterwards are damn sweet. But I have to stick to what Lucas has done with Boba so far. I dunno if he in fact has stated that Boba survived, but I've heard him say somewhere that he does indeed die in ROTJ. He is the creator of the Star Wars stories, so I take his scope on the Star Wars stories first before another writer/comic writer. Yes I know some of his ideas that had come up in the new movies seemed to have taken the shine and mystisism away from what we thought and learnt throughout the books and comics, but as I said, he is the one who makes it fact, not the other way round. Much like the fact that Chewbacca dies in that New Jedi Order book. Yeah, like I'll ever believe that!

Once Lucas clearly states that Boba indeed survived, then I'll believe it. Even though I am a PURE Boba Fett fan.
I have returned... Again...
