You and Raven were involved in the creation of Warzone and/or Aftermath? If so, grouping the projects would make even more sense.

Warzone was the first custom campaign I played, so that's probably why I like CE so much. I spent hours and hours upgrading it for the FSCRP and I'm proud of my work.

We weren't, but IceFire and Ace were, and they're still around to claim ownership. Since BWO is related to those projects, and I'm heading BWO, it would indeed make sense to somehow group the projects and show the tangential correlation.

I already thought in general that I would want people to have played Derelict and Warzone before playing BlackWater. Grouping the campaigns together makes sense for several different reasons. And they should be featured cohesively especially after you guys put in so much effort in upgrading them.

Not necessarily... you can for instance turn your back on it, and finish it off with your medusa's turret (sorry, I just can't hold myself today, don't take it the wrong way )

Have you ever planned to handle the defection differently? What about this: when the campaign is finished for the first time, a small cutscene brings the player back when he had to choose between defecting or not, and automatically selects the option the player refused at the first time. After the cutscene, the campaign continues with the player being on the other side. Doing so would need a load of clone mission files, but at least it won't force players to restart the campaign from the very beginning.

Yeah, we're nowhere near that stage yet, but we'll see what options there are available when we get to it. We certainly want people to play both sides.

There's enough campaign branching that making that the only split seems rather silly. Considering that there's a selection for a Sol v.s. SoV loop, and then finally the big choice.
