Back when HLP actually looked like a cool, alive site.

Although, by looking on the front page of the first archived news post of HLP 2.0, that certainly wasn't a cool time for some of us.

I remember v2.0. I don't quite remember how long I was around with it before v3, though. When was the change made form 2 to 3? Man, V2 homepage was awesome.

can we choose themes for forums, like invisionfree? that way we can have whichever HLP style we want...but only we will see it that way, not every single person.

oh man, nostalgic.. i remember those, reminds me of when i'd log in during class in the computer lab back in high school. i miss those HLPs..  :(

Wow, good ol' HLP just before I got on. Too bad I didn't hear of Freespace until Dark Hunter introduced me to it. 'Course, my dad wouldn't have let me play it on his machine, but .... wow .... I've had my rig for about four years now. NVM. I could've played it. Dammit Hunter, why didn't you tell me about this, oh, say, three years ago? ..... Anyway, that is fairly nostaglic even for me (i.e. before Inferno: Alliance). Man I wish I could've joined HLP sooner. :(

HLP was around before it was released.  Unfortunately, IW2 didn't get a big of a following as we would have hoped.  I miss the IW2 boards.
