well it was his balls, or raping a baby up the ass. i think he made the right decision. not the first time somebody castrated themselves. all the guys who played the girl parts in shakespeare plays, harem guards, transsexuals the pain olympics, ect. men throughout history have given their balls to attain perfection and i find it rather commendable.

No.  Having the urge to do something wrong and trying to do something about it does not deserve a man to be castrated.  However, he did deserve it because he was stupid enough to do it.
