The tanker is nice.  If you managed to put doodrs that would pen/close on its bays, the carrier would be nice also.

It's probably not so much as a carrer, rather a fighter transport. Haul fighters to a carrier.

I think that's what they call an escort carrier, CVE. Intended only to move fighters up to the frontline carriers, they often find themselves in combat anyway, whether protecting the rear, or pressed into front line service.

Well from the size of it, it looks like it could only hold ~8 figthers packed really tight and not really ready for launch so I doubt that very much and then the same could be said for my pirate carrier idea

The tanker is also my first experiment with fuel tanks.  I've got a couple more ships I want to work on that are mostly fuel tanks.  (WC1 Diligent & Dorkir , WC2 Clysdale and Dorktha)

Like (almost ) everyone else: the tanker. It'll be more realistic <?> than hauling gas in gas miners and freighters.

Well considering most likely the gas they'll be carrying is antimatter

Make sure that there is a little scribble on the tank texture that says something like "I am not a bomb!"..or the oposite "Shoot me I can take it!" and paint a targetmarker on it ^_°

This reminds me of the fighter launch cargo container for the GTFr Triton that never got finished.
