At a glance I'd say 'No', which probably means the correct answer is 'Yes'

Ii makes no sense.. they are on a checkerboard patterns, logic dictates the lie on OPPOSING colors.
the shadow seems too weak to balance it out.

Checked it in Photoshop, they are the same colour....that's freaky.

Their both very close to 120,120,120.
Do like i said above and the colors will appear correctly. 
BTW it appears they used two different light shadow renderings to make this image.

  OK.  Umm, yes.

If you wear glasses, then look at this image while turning your head left and right.  You should see the tiles change color.  Kinda neat, mostly useless.
