The Chimera skin used to SUCK.
Is there any chance I could get that particular texture? :P
Could I do something for it?

well, i don't really understand what just happened, but i think bengal just said (on internal) that the model (?) is in 3dS and he can't convert it to .cob (???)

at any rate, it'll be out soon as the errors are fixed, as it's not our ship to hold.

 :wtf: the thing is a pof and it is very much done. Just add the reskins to the existing chimera.
Edit: Wait, are the original textures tiled? that could make things problematic

I'm pretty sure the UVMapping has changed on the new version, so just replacing the texture won't work.

 
The model's UV mapped now, no more tiles for it.

And it's uploaded as a textured .3ds...

I'll try something out real quick.

Alright, got it...

LithUnwrap can save a lot of work...

However there will be 6 primary guns instead of 7 due to a small change in the texture details, unless I'll do some cheating...

Here it is before:

So it either needs to be retextured again to accomodate 4 guns on the outside subhulls and use the original layout, or use 6 guns on the outside to fit the current texture, or use 6 guns on the outside, and I'll leave one of the middle 3 in the original spot (spitting out of the cockpit), and we keep 7 primaries...

Or my version of the Chimera already has a changed layout compared to the original and I should not care about which way it goes?

Just make it 6 guns.  Also, could you move the missile points?  They are really oddly placed ATM...
