also, in the cardinal spear: vega, where did they get that ringed gas giant planet? it was awesome.

Basically they are models but they still had textures. Low-end killer textures I might add.

You'll need the table entries for the planets you add as well, unless you're simply substituting the already existing planets by naming your new planets with the old filenames.

Basically, make a <arbitrary_name>-str.tbm which contains all the table entries for the planets you add.

It's possible you know this already, but it can't hurt anyway...

Thanks. Of all those planets, I think that one was my favourite too, even though it was a bit of a pain to get the model behave properly with the transparency of the rings.

Although I have to say that as far as textures are concerned - had I realized how many graphics cards were limited to 2048^2 texture sizes, I would've toned down the texture sizes so that 2048 would've been the greatest dimension in them as opposed to 4096...


->Angelus: Titan has issues with programs he can install on the computer he almost has the right to use. So he likely won't be able to convert any thing to any other format... aside from the tools offered by Windows (or programs that have Win on their name). And WinAmp doesn't really offer that much conversion power.

Titan won't be able to install it on the PC he almost has the right to use, because Audacity doesn't have Win on it's name.

It's made of Win and Gold, but that is not sufficient. It would need to have Win in it's name to pass the quality control for programs that Titan is allowed to install.

One of these days I'm gonna supply Titan with the following programs: WinFirefox, Win-7-Zip, WinAudacity, WinFoxit Reader, and WinFreeSpace_Open. And while we're at it, why not a handy WinUbuntu as well?
