Originaly it was designed to be a Black-Lance carrier for Saga. Its from a time when we hadn't decided what timeline to go with..I think. Been so long ago ^_^

Looks very nice. Changeing it to a frigate with a hangarbay is a very interesting idea. I think the term "mini carrier" is quite fitting. After all the bigger carriers going from carrier over fleet carriers to super and mega carriers its a nice change to go into the other direction.
I think it should become an "official" class of ship...the mini carrier.

Very nice, give it to special ops along with the mother of all ecm/eccm suites and a few arrows, then see if the confed ever have bad intel again.

You don't need a new class. It'd be either an escort carrier or a pocket carrier.
Oh, and funny thing: if it's the size of typical Scooby's frigate, then it'd be smaller than his version of Evansvile.

Very interessting design. I also vote for the "Mini-Carrier" Class. 16-24 Fighters... why not? For a Patrol in a System its fit perfect. Low costs, a good fighterwing, good defence weapons.

That's exactly where I was going with this.  A coast guard ship.  It needs a full fighter bay, but remain generally small and small in budget.

Is there any place where old models are still available? I need older version of the Nimitz carrier. I need older version cuz' it just fits better to my mod than new one [shape and texture]. I need this carrier to fleet I'm making. This is still Freepsace universe, Deimos-like textures of old Nimitz are just like a salvation for me.

Links to most of the models are dead for a long time including the Nimitz. I downloaded what was possible, but I still needs a few models.
