lol i thought you were referring to those quad's.  I'll see if I can stuff a spare gun mount on the cockpit hull's chin

Fixed... wasn't too sure what to put as the third weapon.  It's middle-class sized with dual mass drivers, dual particles.  Putting laser/ion there is pretty pointless and a plasma would be overkill.  A stormfire or a dust cannon would work nicely though.

Saratoga
Unlike the nimitz and the wc3/4 carriers, this one doesn't have a fly through hanger.  The landing and taking off hangers are at two different levels and having such a huge open area seems to be a huge waste of space.
It's about the same length as the Enterprise-class, just less tonnage (it's strictly a carrier and not a battle-wagon)

Can't you do it like the Lexington? It has a flythrough fighterbay and hangars at two levels, and there are two nifty elevators in the back that handle the connection.

Actually I think I can do that, plus what I have now.  As long as the hanger doesn't effect the hull, both should work, both have similar landing/take off positions.  Just name one TCCV-Saratoga.pof and the other TCCV-Saratoga1.pof

I like it. Looks far more better then the Yorktown / Concordia Class. Reminds a bit to the WC1+2 Ships but still a WC3 design. Just Lasers and Stormfire but I don't think this ship needs cover for enemy fighters, too much defence turrets ^^
