IIRC, we only saw it once in the B5 series (episode1 - season1)
It came from outer space! What? Dunno, but it's going back on the next flight!

Very nice :nod:

Try adding a little light to the visible side of the Sharlins though and perhaps a bit of background/edge glow to the beams to make them appear more powerful. They look a little weedy as is.

Can't wait to see the high detail version :)

Thanks....i'll add a small light to make the sharlins more visible:) and i'll try to make the beams a bit bigger and more glowie...i also added a whitestar in it.

:yes: That's gotta be the best render I've seen in a good whole month. Amazing. The lighting could be a little more dynamic, but ... wow. That's one heck of a killer job. :)

Don't you have to credit people when you use THEIR ships? Any model sites for B5 I find say to give credits to the appropriate person in your renders...


Good render...  but maybe sometime use ur own effects and backgrounds, i'd like to see how it turns out.

I forget things sometimes dude....and the star field i made it my self....

But i'll give them credit for it now...

Credits go to the people who made these models...
Better?

I used my own effects when i still used TS4.2, don't wory i'll make my own backgrounds and effects.

Man, that is one of the nicest renders i've seen.  the background, the starfield, the lighting, all on point.  But the planets are by far the best part.  Good Job

Like the scene, are those the whitestars with the hideously huge poly counts?

My only problem is the planet's details are TOO detailed, should be blurrier.  This stems from the light overhead being really sharp.  Feels to me like the planets alongside one of those ships instead of in the distance.

But otherwise a good pic.  I think I have the stats for the narn ship somewhere on my machine too.  *searchsearch*

I've never seen a single episode of B5, but those ships (especially the Whitestar) kick ass!  Great render, man!

Actually the planet is the part I dislike most. First, it shouldn't be lightened  from the top, plus it really looks small and close.

I forgot to rotate the poles of the planet abit, but still it came out rather nicely.:)

Very nice! I like it. But move the WhiteStar a bit to the left. The one that is partially blocking the TLoth cruiser and it would be almost perfect.

Babylon 5 renewed my faith in Sci fi :nod:

I've seen the legend of the rangers this afternoon :) It's cool, but... is it me or they really overuse that EA cruiser shape a bit? C'mon, there's the basic one, the one with the spinny thing, the one in that movie with side plates, I've seen one with spikes... isn't that a bit too much?

PS. Venom, where did you find Legend of the Rangers (LotR! Lol!)? Did it actually show on TV or did you Kazaa it? :)
