I worked at a movie theater. Sucky pay, and the hours were terrible, but the perks were amazing.

Hey, that was willful. :D And besides, graffiti fell out of fashion in my suburb and that was the one thing that motivated me the most to be an immature little prick.

Funny you say that, the movie theaters are renowned at my school for paying the best, and having the best conditions in addition to all the perks. The fact we're school aged probably means that we don't get to work the ****ty hours often anyway though.

Next semester, I'm going to apply for a job in the QuikCats shop (basically a convenience store for people too lazy to walk the 200 yards to the nearest gas station.  Needless to say, it's the busiest non-classroom on campus) in the dining complex that's all of 50 feet from my dorm.  I'm already down there every couple days, so I know all of the important buttons better than this semester's new help.  Add to this the ability to park my laptop behind the counter and/or do homework while I'm on shift, and I take my shifts when I'd be doing homework anyway? 

Yes please.

I work in computer-retail at [REDACTED],  the bull**** I see some salesmen say and just how far they are planning to go to get a sale disgusts me.

I used to work at McDonald's. It's not that bad except for the customers will call you stupid and generally be total assholes to you. Lunchtime on Sunday is the worst.

EVE is currently reprising Capella in Yulai. Sansha Kuvakei even had the nerve to start shenanigans with "Commence plasma core extraction."

EDIT: Local over 1500 and rising, why the servers haven't barfed I no longer know. Even hero-reinforcing the node shouldn't be able to handle this. NPCs having a field day since they don't lag.

EDIT: 1700 and and local broke, no longer functional. Lag is horrendous, takes two minutes to jump in. Very little firing on-grid, weapons will not complete firing cycle.

EDIT THE THIRD: Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, you can literally see missiles suspended in time due to the lag.

EDIT THE FOURTH: Weapons now firing successfully, local back to 1000.

im trying to finish my particle code for the engine, also im re-designing one of my arduino-based r/c projects to use the nano i just got, and greatly reduce the amount of space my receiver uses. neither project has gotten anywhere thanks to my starcrack2 addiction and constant distractions from all the crazy people i live with.

Arduino boards seem rather neat, a friend of mine is going to borrow some on a long-term basis, so I'll play about with those at his house before deciding if I'll buy any.

I hate it when a class gets out early but I only have 15 minutes between classes to begin with and I end up with 25 minutes of nothingness and suck.
