Back from Florida vacation, which sucked.

Why? Caught a cold there. Then that cold complicated itself into sinusitis. Bacterial infection, thank God, so antibiotics are proving effective. But, I'm still recovering from that, a week after I get back.

I think the American east coast hates me. Two out of three times I've gone out there, I've gotten sick.

Good on you, mate. A surprising amount of the guys at my uni are Singaporeans who've come down after NS. The cool stuff they get up to kind of makes me wish we had NS in Australia.

Good to hear they're mostly not complaining about NS being a waste of time. There are some conscripts who feel that way.

The only one I know who does talk about it kind of in that tone did his time as a clerk in a Combat Support Corps. The guys I know who seem to look back on it well are guys who did their time in an Arms Corps. Consequently I met all those blokes in my uni gym and the Support Corps bloke I met by chance in one of my tutes. Coincidence? Maybe.

Anyway, upon reading the moderation threads, and being in the midst of my study for an exam tomorrow afternoon, I have come to the conclusion that I think HLP needs more sex, drugs, and people.
