I think you could have gotten more. I never wrote my own essays, $50 sure wouldn't be enough to do an extra one.

Really sorry to hear that. A close family member of mine has been on dialysis for more than a year and is on the transplant list. If it's any consolation, after the initial shock, it's amazing how quickly everyone settles into the new normal.

I don't normally get preachy about things, but if anyone reading this isn't signed up to be an organ donor, please do it. You can't take them with you anyway, and it could mean the world to someone in a desperate situation.

That's the thing though, is that it's not an extra one. I'm writing an essay for my friend's sister who's taking English 101. I myself am not in school and therefore avoid writing things like this altogether

But when money is involved...
