I'm really lucky to live in the foothills of the Rockies. Except for our ****ed up weather it's just awesome.
You too? Where?

This is probably going to make a lot of you want to kill me.

Re: Whatever happens in your life III: The Search for Spock
My teacher wants me to buy a new calculator ($125) and a textbook ($130-used) for her class ($240).

What a rude introduction to college. Thanks god it's not all this mess for 4-5 classes...

Oh! But! I made like $60 this weekend. Hooray!
HA-ha. Yep, buying college books is a real bum-frak. Welcome to the club.

Re: Whatever happens in your life III: The Search for Spock
It rained so much this morning that school was canceled; first they had no classes because lots of teachers couldn't get to school, and later the flooding was getting too close. That's the second day of no school - yesterday they had the strike.

Esarai, where is that, the second one looks nice. It doesn't look like Canada so methinks... Colorado?

Anyways, I'm in Calgary so about an hour to four hours drive to about 20 ski resorts. Hehehehe....

Re: Whatever happens in your life III: The Search for Spock
Nailed it on the head. I'm in Colorado. Not as many resorts as where you are, but they're all within 1/2 to 4 hours drive from here. They're all pretty massive so I guess that makes up for their scarcity. The first shot is of Eldora. Just the local deal, nothing too special except the short drive to get to it. The other two are at Copper Mountain. You need to have some serious bawls to try the run in the third picture. It starts at a 90 degree down angle, stays between 60-70 most of the run, and is peppered with all kinds of drops (the 30 foot unexpected cliff kind) and rocks (the nature's analog to teeth kind). I dragged my dad down it. He wanted never to try it again. Ever.

Even if there were pics it might not have happened, as we all know from Stealth's "death".
