I (conveniently) forgot to see the BBC text stream on the Hungary F1 yesterday. Apparently, more $#!^ happens if I don't watch. :p

I had a kitten for a week and a day that passed away 4 days ago. I'm also going to be experimenting with Hammer in a little bit...

Maggots/ worms...........It's all nom nom nom to me....

Yet another example of 2 people who need to learn about health, have some self control, and self respect. That looks nasty :D Even though they smile, they couldn't possibly feel good health-wise or appearance-wise. I look at people who are obese and I think of them as lazy and taking too much for themselves and they did do it to themselves and it tells me somewhat what their personality is like the 3 things I just mentioned. People tend to think "oh, it isn't their fault" but I disagree and their is always a way to prevent it with knowledge. My green tea helped me a little, for example, even though I was not fat. If I notice I am gaining some fat, I will simply not buy certain foods, like ice cream, for a little while and lose the fat.

Well at the end of the day, it's their problem and it doesn't really affect you does it? (And no, I am not overweight, in fact if you ask portej05 or Darius, who've seen me in person, they'll tell you how good I make those African kids look :P )

It does affect me if they don't share anything with others and that is why they are obese and I get angry and others starve because of their indulgence. It can affect me and others because it is selfish and deprives others of food. That food would be put to better use in Africa :p The world needs its food supplies more evenly distributed and not unbalanced geographically.

My plan for a healthy snack failed miserably.  I went into the office kitchen to wash my apple only to be lured into getting a slice of delicious chocolate cake from yesterday's birthday.  I blame whoever left it on the counter.

We have free will. We are not automatons like flies who can't resist. To take responsibility when you are responsible for the action is grown up, shows strength, and well, is less selfish.

Actually I wasn't keeping up to date with the thread prior to posting, but now that I put my post into context what a crazy random happenstance.

Anyway, I run 10 miles regularly I can have some gorram cake.

Actually it does in a way, Medicare is based on the idea that in the prime years of peoples' lives they will be relatively healthy and pay into the the system, only needing to draw out post retirement and old age starts kicking in. When a large percentage of the people are morbidly obese, they start having health issues during their prime years and start drawing from it much earlier when they should be in fact paying in.

That said, this probably isn't the thread for an indepth disscussion of obessity issues, unless your looking to bring about The Undiscovered Country.
