It's always a good feeling to be on top of everything in your life. I've been lucky enough to get that a few times over the past two years. :)

I'm staying up late for no reason whatsoever, but I'll be going to bed soon. School begins October 19 for me.

Hurm...

Esarai's journal, October 13th, 2009:

Visited one of the internets' lowest hell holes. Looking for 'Rainbow.'

I found it.

Must dispose of sewage with toilet.  Unsure of how.  Rainbow is computer.  Computers don't like water.

Scratched myself. Trying to find a particular free shump I used to play, a game about endless boss fights. I can't remember its name though ... Basically you play as a fighter, and you have to defeat a boss, and the boss evolves depending on how you defeat it.

WARNING FOREVER

coolest name for anything ever.

Also,
dual major in Chemical and Mechanical engineering
WAHAHAHAAA!

Hey, more power to you if you can pull it off, but as I understand it chemical engineering is hard mode. I'm majoring in mechanical myself, and that's enough. I wouldn't claim it's as hard as chemical or nuclear or something, but it's certainly no walk in the park either.

Good luck. You're going to need it. :D

Ahh, Warning Forever. Good game... it's not quite as awesome as Fraxy, IMHO, but good.

I'm currently attempting to beat the final few levels of Marathon Infinity (not the Vidmaster's Challenge). Game's story is breaking my brain, but fun nonetheless.

I'm going to be on a five year graduation plan if I do.  Not going to cram 30 hours of classes a semester, believe me there. :ick:

Anyway, had some fun coming up with ways for guns to shoot without gunpowder.  Two hours later, had a scale drawing and a (I hope) sound concept.

Again: BWAHAHAHAAAA

4 1/2 to 5 years is about the standard for ONE engineering degree around here. It depends on how many credits you have going in though.

So anyways, how are you going to make a powderless gun? Compressed air?

You laugh, but an engineering MASTERS takes about five years where I'm going.  At least, that's what they said at the visiting day >.>

On the gun, sequentially triggered electromagnets.  I have a scale drawing if I can ever get this damn scanner working.

Wouldn't it be better for them all to turn on at once, then off one at a time as the projectile passes?

Re: Wh473v3r H4pp3n$ 1n ¥0µr £1ƒ3: ƒ0r3v3r
:ick: That's what I meant.  And actually, they are supposed to turn off just before the bullet reaches them, so no chance of drag is present as the projectile passes.  The timing on that is going to be a ***** though.  We (friends) ruled out some sort of "tripwire" that would shut off the next magnet in sequence because we didn't know how the magnets would affect it, and that it would become too complex.  Otherwise, the moving part count stands at six, two of which are optional.
