True, but people like to make Firefox sound so.
Without going off topic in the whatever happens in your life thread.... Firefox, when compared to IE6, is like a tasty triple chocolate cake layered in chocolate and caramel compared to utter crap. Now it's more of a reflex motion. IE8 finally... sort of... kinda supports web standards (sometimes) so I don't hate it as much when developing for the web and Microsoft seriously patches it now too so it's less of a security liability for all of the people I have to support in my current job.
Opera, Chrome, even Safari are good alternatives now... tried them all... but Firefox still tries to be the most simple and effective and it works until you load it up with plug-ins.
