rap today reminds me of "heavy metal" in the 80s (not that i consider that crap real metal). in that it was over marketed, over hyped, and excessively parroted. its gotten to the point where very little of the genre is original. you can probably say the same about modern mainstream metal (not that i consider that crap real metal) or any other genre of music, such as mainstream country (not that i consider that crap real country). of course i dont always listen to metal, sometimes i listen to bands fronted by serial killers from the 60s, or dirty country songs from the 70s. i did go through a short rap phase bout a decade ago, but i quickly got sick of the constant pop culture references and street lingo. then i discovered black metal, and found my genre.

as for my mother, i thought it cruel to use one of my dirty socks in such a way, and opted for about a dozen zipties and 2 really heavy heatsinks.

My day so far, felt undecided as to whether to go in today as management are figureheads at most at my company. Ie blocks of wood i'd like to nail to front of a seagoing vessel, preferably artic explorer.
 
 
Then I got my train after deciding, sod it give them less excuse to have a go and pride for my attendance record of course.
 
Except my train stopped dead at nunhead station. Guess what the driver said.
 
Does anyone know the way to Victoria station? Could any southeastern driver please make his way to the front of the train.

Yeah, I'm not really one for mainstream rap except when I find myself in a car with a large stereo. East Coast, Aussie, and Aussie Underground rap's more my style. Though obtaining the latter is.. Very inconvenient.
