Back from work. I had a good day, and it started off ten minutes before I woke up, when I received my progress report through handphone. The results are uplifting.
Then, no more than three minutes after I stepped into the office, I got a call from one of my school teachers. He's one of the teachers I'm friendlier to, and he's going to be my liaison officer throughout my internship. In other words, he's the person I have to keep updated on my progress throughout the next eighteen weeks, and he will be the first person I should turn to if something goes wrong at work.
Today was an unusually light day for me. Normally, I would be bogged down with at least two tasks, but not today. When I was done with the only task I was given today, my superior told me to get out of my seat and find a better-lit area to sit down and pass the time. In that fashion, I spent three out of the last four hours of work today reading the User Guide for Adobe After Effects CS3, which I use at work.
In the last hour, I was told to make some minor alterations to the only task I did earlier today, and it all came out flawlessly.
While walking towards the bus-stop to take a bus home, I missed a ride, so I assumed that I would have to wait another twenty minutes to board another crowded bus (which is what usually happens), but imagine my shock and delight when, less than five minutes later, a second bus came, it was a double-decker, and it was almost empty.
When I got back home, my mum told me that she had just finished boiling the soup.
And so I am here, posting this since I didn't have any reason to kill Firefox. I'm happy.
