its my very favourite game, but a pair of chartered accountants whos total previous experiences in gaming since the 80s is mario cart and the wii (mom) , and a little XvT, CoD single player (dad), is quite amusing, in fact when my mom of all people engages me on a discussion about it when she came down to visit earlier today after my exam (pwned!) and is actually not talking like a total n00b, grasping concepts of cover and flanking, i can't not chuckle.

Now get them to play FreeSpace. 

THAT will be an epic challenge. maybe get the old man into Diaspora or FoTG.
OR if you ever release onto console / i get a linux build onto the ps3..

I just had my first kid moment with the snow outside, my first attempt ever at making a snowman was pretty much a horrid failure, so I kicked it in half (Horizontally) then picked up the upper half and punched the head off.

My Dad loves games like Doom and Halo, anything where he can just fire en-masse into a crowd of things really, problem is, his old computer was so slow, he only got 8-10 fps on Halo, but he's got a new computer now, so I'm just working on getting him to buy Saints Row 2, the idea of a 66-year old man running around in SR2, firing artillery into the crowds and alughing maniacally is just too tempting

Dinner pwned me. I walked around aimlessly in the Hotel grounds twice for 30 and 15 minutes respectively, spent the last five throwing up into the roots of some conveniently placed tree. Following curry with Coca-Cola is not recommended.

By the way, Sri Lankan road rules, for your benefit:

- The horn must be used at every available opportunity.
- Overtaking is compulsory,
- Traffic Lights are actually there for aesthetics, they are not to be followed.
- Lane discipline is optional.
- The speed limit does not exist.
