Re: Puppies, beer, cooking, cars, porn, holidays and whåtever
In between my two exams and week's worth of homework, I need to figure out how to write a resume and go to a job interview. Not a bad way to be busy, though.

How did you get a job interview... without already having a resume?

How did you get a job interview... without already having a resume?

The student employment website has a generic application system which doesn't support attaching resumes. Some employers require you to email them a resume before they decide to give you an interview, others just go off of what the online application tells them until the interview, and others don't require a resume at all. But the kinds of jobs that don't require an independent resume at all are the ones like "Walk to every single building on campus and make sure they have a fire extinguisher,"

Man, that sounds like a sweet job. If you have a bike, at least...

I was really tempted to apply for it until I realized that it only paid $7.50 an hour and that's really not worth it when the snow comes. :p Plus the job I got the interview for looks pretty cool. It's as a computer consultant for the department of astronomy.

I'm Vice-Captain of a new indoor Soccer team we're putting together (my mates already run one that plays in a local league, but we have enough for two teams and so the inevitable happened).

Uh-oh, I accidentally ate the egg bun my sister brought back from school last night. Now she's either going to get mad at me once she finds out, I'm going to get an upset stomach sometime later today, or both.

First attempt at dyeing hair:

Target: Cobalt Blue (what it says on the tin.  I'd just call it "blue")
Procedure:  Apply dye to head.  Wait 30 minutes.  Rinse with cold water until water becomes clear.
Result:  A very strange, but certainly not uninteresting aqua-ish blue-green.
Conclusion:  Either the brand/color was off, leading to sub-par performance, or not enough time given to allow the color to set.  Other possible explanations include: 1) My hair is too light (or dark.  Whatever) for this color and 2) it might show up the correct color after it dries completely.  Will test further when I wake up.

Overall:  I am not disappointed, as the objective of the entire process was to produce an interesting hair color.  My only disappointment lies with the formula itself, which may still redeem itself.

You have to bleach your hair first to get a true color.

I felt compelled to find this again. I like to think I've matured a tiny, tiny, bit since then. :P

I also facepalmed at referring to myself as black.
