Is that even possible? I recall in that Stephen Ambrose book about Pegasus Bridge, some British soldier talking about how the PIAT was actually a massive load of ****, and even worse if the target was over 50 metres.
The PIAT was nearly impossible to aim because it didn't have a flat trajectory even over relatively short ranges. (Though it's nominally listed as having a 120 meter range I think the 50 figure is probably an accurate assessment of when you'd ever hit something with your first shot.) I also have my doubts than anyone ever managed to actually fire one three times in as many minutes in a combat situation considering the godawful cocking mechanism since it's basically a giant springloaded grenade launcher.
However could it breach the 25mm top or rear deck armor of a Tiger? Sure it could. And then the ready ammo goes off or the engine catches on fire and it's all pretty ugly. So what happened was within the realm of possibility, if barely.
Honestly it was my screwup; I was counting teams and and guns and managed to transpose one of them somehow. I thought he had one more 6 pounder somewhere, which wouldn't be on a top floor, not one more PIAT, which could be. Whoops.
