Playing game of supremecy 1914, fighting egypt.
he's dug in on the east side of the Suez canal, I have 50% more men, and I have 4x the artillery, and tanks, but he also has artillery, so I might win, but that'd cost me most of my army, and I have 2 "allies" also attacking him, and I really want to take Cairo for the money.
so I send 15,000 men south and around to grab Cairo before anyone else can, and if he shells those troops, I can move my army up and bombard his stronghold, take it out with far fewer causalities.
Feel like a tactician coming up with this instead of waiting for my railgun to be build back up in homeland.

My sisters decided to get into Stargate. Since I own all of SG-1, I'm currently rewatching it with them.

I'd forgotten how weird and random the early episodes were... and how much had changed by the end of the 10 season run...

so the guy that installed my cable (by which i mean delivering the box/router and screwing in a few coax cables) was complaining about how he made $60,000 LESS in 2010 than he used to. i don't even make that total and i work on fking nuclear reactors. aint that some ****.

I think it's more likely that you misheard or misunderstood him, or that he lied than that he actually makes significantly more money hooking up cable than an engineer(?).

Or maybe I'm just in the wrong business... Least I don't have to deal with customers...
