Well, I did it.  I beat Braid without having to check out any walkthroughs, which is a pretty cool feeling. :) Fantastic little game.  Now I just have to do a crap-load of reading all over the Internet to figure out what the hell the plot meant. :p

Went to Kendo, had fun.  Steadily working on my second Mass Effect play through as a Fem Shep Vanguard, I'll continue her into ME2 once I wrap up with Saren.

Spoiler:
I don't think it's about any one thing as a whole but I think the thing it's most obviously secretly about is the atomic bomb; you can find the bomb and the search for the bomb in a lot of the levels

So I finally bothered to mess around with SC2.

...surprisingly, it took me a whole campaign before I screamed "**** THIS". Though the tutorial came pretty close.

Re: W-H-I-Y-L I pity the fools that diss it.
My best friend is drunk off her ass in South Padre, and she is a very depressed drunk at the moment, so I'm helping her through that at the moment.  She wasn't a depressed drunk before she passed out, so that worries me a tiny bit.  Doing that by text is hardly the most optimal solution, but it's the best one I've got right now, since she has no call service, and I'm about 800 miles away.

Damn, I wish I was there (for more than one reason).

Yeah, I definitely picked up on that.  I want to go through it again and see what jumps out the second time.  Plus I've heard rumors about super-hidden secret stuff and such. :p

I've heard about that... Can't even beat the game proper so I end up frustrated when I go looking for stuff.

Re: W-H-I-Y-L I pity the fools that diss it.
Went to historic weapons class and it ended up being the final day of Italian Longsword.  Last week's class it was just the instructor and I and we had discussed taking a more in depth look at the style since I much prefer digging into it and attaining a level of proficiency rather then just cycling systems at a birds eye view.  Unfortunately the idea got overruled by the rest of the class tonight, which I was kind of expecting since they don't take the course for the same reasons I do.  However, my instructor did leave it open to schedule private lessons, which I may take him up on since he really knows his stuff and the longsword is an extremely awesome fighting system.  I also received my order of Danner boots via the post today.  I only got to wear them this evening but even so I am pretty impressed, they are really built to move in comfortably.  I usually wear Justin boots which coupled with my stride are very audible where as these even at my fastest walking pace are practically silent.

I won't be around much because my mother is in critical condition [in a hospital] and is in danger of dying.
[22:29] <sigtau> Hello, #hard-light?  I'm trying to tell a girl she looks really good for someone who doesn't exercise.  How do I word that non-offensively?

So sorry :(  Really hope she gets better...
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

My prayers and condolences go out to you.
[16:57] <CommanderDJ> What prompted the decision to split WiH into acts?
[16:58] <battuta> it was long, we wanted to release something
[16:58] <battuta> it felt good to have a target to hit
