Celebrated my step-sister's birthday last night. Home-made pizza for dinner, and dessert was strawberry-chocolate mousse-brownie trifle with fresh chocolate sauce.

Just finished handing in the last programming assignment for Operating Systems...... and with it comes a further understanding of the potential ramifications of my tendencies to procrastinate. About 1/2 to 2/3 of the program set functioned. And I know damn well that if I had started further ahead of time that would have been all of it working. And I need a 70 on this assignment (or an appeal to the prof) to be allowed to pass this course due to a rule that regardless of overall average, you must have 50 percent on the assignment section of the course. Of which i recieved 40 and 40 due to idiotic moments of moronic coding mistakes and procrastination.

Ah well. we live, we learn. We give ourselves **** and we stop being idiots eventually. Or we fail.

And as it is now 230 am here.... I guess what would have been a pre-warning for drunken hamnyurger posts tomorrow becomes a pre-warning for hamnyurger posts this coming evening, and an apology for the unnecessary verboseness and self-directed semi-pointless frustrated rambling that this post is formed out of.

Really wish I wasn't an hour and a half's drive from my girlfriend.
God I'm tired.

On the left column is the time the sound has to be put in. On the right is the sound label ("Turbo" will probably be some Shivan Turret sound effect as it's basically a Star Destroyer turbolaser projectile, TerranF is also Terran Flyby, "Boom" will usually be flak (hell what are those random explosions showing up in the fight scenes anyway), "FighterBoom" will be the sound of a ship blowing up "ShivanF" is Shivan Flyby, "RedLaserLight" is Rebel laser fire, which would probably be some Terran Turret sound, and "SDHit" is the sound of lasers impacting the hull. "CapShipSystems" is the sound of a Star Destroyer's shield generator going down (take note, this isn't the Executor yet), "Systems" is the sound of those dying pilots' fighters going down (you see sparks inside their cockpits) and "CollideDestroy" would be a fighter crashing to a bigger ship.

Personally I view Admiral Piett as one of the most hilarious characters here. You'll find out why.

This list is rather long. Although it doesn't take much time actually doing this, it somehow requires sheer concentration.

Best scheduling decision ever: not having class 'till 11:00am on Mondays.

I was up until 2:00 Sunday night working on a damn statics project that took way ****ing longer than I thought it would. The last project we got in that class was worth the same number of points, and I was able to finish it in an afternoon, so I thought I'd be able to do the same with this one. Let's just say there was a very good reason they gave us two and a half weeks to work on it.

Oh, and I also had to finish a history paper last night on top of the statics project.

At least that's it for major assignments. I think all I really have left before finals is a couple of midterms.

I'm feeling a little moody. ChatZilla's not working properly on Firefox 4, Colloquy doesn't have everything that ChatZilla offers, I can't get MacIrssi to work, Snak is shareware, and KVirc requires me to install stuff that I don't want to install.

^ and another apology for that. I have a habit of being incredibly self-deprecating when I'm tired. Hamnyurger posts may still ensue later on tonight, but they should involve more "YAY LAST MAJOR ASSIGNMENT DONE!!!!111!!!" than "SELF-DIRECTED RAGE GO!!!!"

On a side note, it still sucks that my girlfriend is an hour and a half away. My choice to stay with the girlfriend from home when I went to Uni. A choice that I've been incredibly happy, time and time again, that I made.
