So, saturday is probably the most important day in Australian profession sport - Grand Final day for the AFL (As an event, the ashes are bigger, but they're spread over weeks, so there's no single big day like there is for the AFL). My local team - the West Coast Eagles - made it to the prelims but fell over (coming from the wooden spoon last year though, everyone's pretty happy with the result) - but Collingwood - everyone's least favourite team and current reigning premiers - have made it through. So I have someone to cheer for (whoever's playing Collingwood, in this case, Geelong Cats).

Drinking commences at 8:30 AM. the game starts 12:30PM, my time. Messy, messy day ahead. :D

That story on (Project Rainstorm) Fan Fiction and Art is part of something great, I assure you. It will be about four books, at most, and as it goes down the line the darker it will become! I want my main character Rain stand in the midst of a burning city as she turns toward the reader, her eyes will be yellow and red.

Okay, just kidding! She won't be evil, but she will be in the midst of a burning city. This will happen at a later date in the books.  ;)

Meant to say "stint of minimal social contact", but sometimes my PC highlights chunks of text and evaporates them.

Managed to somehow save my computer from the derp I put it through when trying to get rid of a Trojan turned into a BSOD every start-up.  This was complicated by the fact that my DVD drive can now only read DVDs, not CDs.  Computers are fun!

i'm not in raleigh anymore to attend the grand final party with my USAFL team. :( 

honestly i'm going to have to go for collingwood in this one because i'm tired of seeing geelong in the final.  western bulldogs are my preferred team but it's going to be a while before i see them in a final methinks.
