I'm becoming accustomed to staying up for over 24 hours when working on finals or pressing assignments as the semester continues to be reduced to the last few minutes in which I have time to work! On the bright side, if I could be this productive on a daily basis...

I bought myself a P-51D model kit this arvo, have spent the evening assembling and painting, before I screwed up the D-Day invasion stripes!

Will repaint and probably do without and go for a pre-June Mustang, since I don't think I have enough masking tape to ensure the stripes get done immaculately. A bit of work in the morning should have her done!

Funny thing, I did this too. Same P51 model, same paintjob, only four, five years ago
What's the model scale?

Enjoyed watching the Religious Discussion thread bob up and down the thread list, always surviving but never thriving. Then it got locked and I imagined the wondrous trollings and fierce debate leading up to the lock.

I didn't actually read the thread, but it was interesting watching it grow and die.

@Dilmah: Haha, nice. However... what sort of paint are you using that require four coats anyhow? Stuff I got needed only one safe for a few spots on a 1:32 model

So I finally got around to seeing if that girl I mentioned earlier would be interested in grabbing a coffee sometime (albeit, earlier this week learned she was more a tea drinker so coyly added "well, in your case tea")
She said yes to the idea, however asking "in what way" shortly thereafter. That being, date or hang out sort of ordeal. Chose the ladder since well... safe answer

On top of having an excellent discounted lunch (Thai chicken wrap) at the restaurant I work at, having a fairly good idea as to what gifts I'll be getting my family, and learning that my bank account is filled with money... I now also have a number to call

Relatively successful day I suppose

Too bad this weekend is going to be OH SO BLOODY FUN. Closing the restaurant Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is going to be hell to say the least. Why? Friday is the busiest night of the week with Saturday following closely behind. Sunday isn't quite as bad since everyone has work the following day, however since it's shopping season... I expect it to be almost as busy. Furthermore, I don't have two opportunities for bus catching. Only 11:30... no 12:30. That means I need to haul ass

I played my World in Conflict game and I am loving it! The story is so good!

I also played my Supreme Commander as well. Its a type of game where you be busy with your base, but when you zoom out, an experimental unit is on your front door! Or you could lead a massive army with the help of Experimentals against your enemy, then have the commander explode in a glorious explosion a while Jeremy Soule leds his talents.

It's actually 110 Mbps in and... I suspect 10 Mbps out, though I don't exactly know.

However the 100 Mbps NIC's in our router box limit the connection speed slightly. I daresay no one will give a damn...
