i cant just go to the store and buy something i want. if you buy anything locally it will both cost a fortune and not be very good at all. so i got to order it sight unseen. to make matters worse most online electronics and computer stores like to ship through a shipping company instead of through the postal service. and unlike the postal service the shipping companies gouge the **** out of us. shipping for something relatively small like a motherboard will cost between $30 and $50, and i seldom spend over $175 for a mobo. reguardless by the time you get something shipped here your already out a lot of money. if anything is wrong and you got to pay to ship it back to get it replaced youre already ****ed. then some places like to charge you fees, like newegg charges a 15% restocking fee. quite frankly if you get a defective mobo, its going to cost you just as much to get them to replace it than it would to just buy another one from someone else. warranties dont do me a ****s worth of good.

Read lots of reviews about the product in question and ***** at the company if it's defective. I've only paid return shipping to Newegg once: every other time, it's been paid for me and the restocking fee was waived.

That would be a problem, yes (this is primarily why I don't buy anything online)
I personally, went to NCIX for my computer rig. Great place, perfect for custom builds (and there is warranty on EACH individual component as well as the computer itself)

This is one of the few 4th year courses that 3rd years can elect to take as well, and I've just been partnered with one of two third years in the class, a cute English girl called Maria (I say partnered, the partnering is voluntary but we were both waiting to talk to the professor [Another cute woman >.>] about certain things, were talking whilst we waited and then I let her go ahead to talk to the Professor first when the others had finished, and the Prof pointed out that whilst she may not know anyone, she had just spent the past ten minutes talking to me. And a partnership was born)

So, could be fun.
