Is rehab fairly effective over there for drug abusers? I would've thought a Judge would be very, very hesitant to chuck him in prison, with recidivism rates after that and all.

It seems to work to some extent, but then again, my cousin has been in and out of prison infrequently for the past twenty years. We still hope he'll eventually kick the habit and live a proper life.

now moms having her girlfriend over for dinner, only problem is she doesnt know shes her girlfriend, this wont end well. worst part is i need to clean up the house abit and make dinner. probibly my meatballs of doom. which will cut into my mwll time. fml.

Why does everyone insist on eating out on Mother's Day? Is there some stereotype that all mother's cook dinner, and the kids/father can't so they opt out and eat out?

More or less. The dad's either can't cook very well, and/or want to treat the mom's to something special. At any rate, it's good for the restaurant business!

crisis adverted! she chickened out at the last minute. which sucks cause i just cleaned up the house somewhat. on the other hand this gets me off the hook for not getting her anything for mothers day. moms a mixed up one alright, aside from being on the verge of becoming completely senile, she flipflops between extreme right wing anti-gay sentiment, to wanting to become a lesbian every time she crushes on some gal. its quite sad. meatballs of doom are still on but im not gonna make an event out of them. there is also the possibility that my sister will come to town to visit mom and that will likely **** over dinner, as i will have to feed 4.75 instead of 2. not the mention the damage to my now clean house, invalidating an entire 4 hours of work (and cleaning up everyone elses messes and/or urine), and theres noting i hate worse than having my work invalidated by inconsiderate ****tards.

My grandfather is a biologist, and taught the subject for many, many years in high school (not mine, mind you). He is quite adept in preparing mushrooms for consumption, and identifying which ones you should definately not eat. I particularly enjoyed looking through his guidebook (or one of them at least), which would indicate which mushrooms you should not operate machinery after consumption, for a few hours at least.
