Just called in sick to my temporary side-job, the night shift helping renovate one of the local dollar stores. Realizing now that working two morning shifts followed by an evening at my other job, and then a couple of night shifts (And transporting my girlfriend to work as well, amongst all of that) is screwing with my sleep schedule to the point where I'm having random dizzy spells and sweats.
So basically, I gave a little-white-lie pair of reasons why I wasn't able to swap the day to Wednesday or Thursday when I'm technically available but frankly need to catch up on sleep, housework, and other obligations, and I *might* try to take a shift next week, if the renovation continues being behind schedule as it is.
I feel like a wimp, for basically bailing on available work, but my entire body is trying to shut down on me and I can't afford to not be functional for my main job. Guess I shouldn't have taken the temp job in the first place.
Edit: I kinda wish they were all evening or morning shifts. I can deal with the work-load, I just can't deal with the inconsistency of shift times.
