The new custodian mixed bleach and ammonia during night cleaning. He's in the hospital and hazmat is at my work right now, apparently. I wonder if I'm going in tomorrow.

(We handle money real good, but we mustard gas ourselves by night.)

You know, they say specifically on the bottle "Do not mix with..." otherwise you'll get a bunch of chloride gas.

Back from Venezuela. Wedding went without a hitch. Regarding the water situation, they just have vast stores of bottled water which you drink instead.

Having not known much about South America, I can say with the exception of the walls, bars, electric fences, insane driving rules, having to carry your passport at all times or face being arrested, and the potentially dangerous water, it was a nice place.

I mean, the people all across the city were more polite then around my city, the women were much prettier, and the food was great. Plus, there are Lizards.

Watching a show on History about weird weapons that were tried. Apparently, the US gave cat-guided bombs a try. As in, purr meow. Strapped to a harness inside a bomb that controlled the fins as the cats moved. The idea being that since cats hate water, they would steer the bomb to hit Japanese ships.

GOD people are stupid.

And while I was typing this, they did a bit on exploding pancakes. And right now they are using cats again. This time as listening devices with implanted microphones, antenna and batteries.

Just discovered something rather annoying. We are building our house in an neighborhood that has a home-owners association. There wasn't much choice. We wanted our kids in the best school district in the area, and there are no neighborhoods without HOA's that are still within the city limits. The recently elected president of the HOA is an architect, and he has taken it upon himself to make the building process as time consuming and painful as he possibly can.

I'd just finally been fed up enough by his recent insistence that no construction vehicles be parked on the property during construction unless the ground is completely dry (seriously, WTF) to issue a formal complaint to the city to try and get him over-ruled. Then I discover that he has gotten his ass elected not only to the local HOA, but also to the City Planning Commission. FML.

You've got to remember, at that time, a computer powerful enough to perform the calculations needed to control a bomb onto a target would've been the size of a small gymnasium. Pigeons, supposedly where the cheaper alternative since people knew how to train them.

Again, the Allies needed bombs that were cheap, powerful, and quick to build. The creation of the atomic bomb changed their tactics.

In other news, I've got a PS3 controller on its way to me. Can't wait to give the PC drivers a whirl on FSO.

I didn't see the part about the pigeons, but at least that's a little better than a ****ing cat steering a bomb because it's afraid of water. How did the guy that suggested that not just get punched in the face? Funniest thing is the reported reason the bombs failed: the cats were knocked unconscious by the g-forces of the drop.

You have to have your passport on you in most countries if you're a foreigner.
