I apparently wasted the entirety of yesterday evening writing a monster summation of the history of Japanese destroyer design from 1918 to 1945. Or so says Alessia. This is strange, as I distinctly remember playing Planetside for some brief period.

So excited!  After a more than 1.5 year hiatus, I'm once again working on POF import/export scripts for Blender (for 2.5/2.6, this time).  After two weeks of debugging and rewriting, I finally have a functional BSP tree generator modeled after the code in PCS2, with some adjustments.

**** my utility company.

My power went out at 5:00pm yesterday.  Icy tree limbs fell across the lines, bringing them down and blowing out a transformer.  KUB came by, dropped off a new transformer, left the downed power lines draped across the road, and buggered off for the night.  Apparently my apartment complex is too small to warrant KUB paying their utility workers overtime to restore service or concern themselves with the safety of passing pedestrians and motorists.
