I hate colds. Break outs, and **** you think is herpes!
I think this semester is truly out to kill me XD
Suffered a severe breakout thinking it was herpes - turns out my "cold sores" are some sort of crazy auto-immune reaction caused by severe stress or allergies (possibly even a bacterial infection by a pimple near the lips). Doctors ran two tests to make sure (making that three total), both came out negative for herpes, but they're a little worried at my white blood cell count. They think it may be related to my latent acne or at least tied to my immune systems abnormal behavior recently and will schedule to meet a dermatologist. Other causes could include anti-biotics or some drugs triggering an allergic reaction.
When asked if I ever engaged in oral sex, told them I hate money shots XP
where are you putting your pecker and what are you sucking on where you have to worry about herpes? and i thought my standards were low. protect your willy!
Muhahahaha... I was being a little sarcastic with them at the end, I don't do any **** with unsafe or dangerous sex.
Essentially I've been exhibiting herpes like symptoms with unusual circumstances... I don't have herpes but seem to get the side effects! No weeping blisters or ulceration, just pure pain, random blistering, and swollen lips until it calms down in a week or two.
I'm thinking its something firing off an extreme allergic reaction, or at least with my past acne or skin rashes around the lips (which happen frequently, but are rarely blister inducing). This is not the first time, and for a while I thought I had cold sores. Between intense fever bouts and cold-like symptoms, it would seem to be cold sores (the IGG tests say no), but my guess is open until I see the dermatoligst. It's the unusual severity of the blistering this time.
As a sidenote, doctors told me no mangos, wine (which I drink often). or medications for stomach ulcers as they could potentially cause these symptoms due to allergens, and I'm a frequent wine drinker. And they also said some types of lip balms will induce similar reactions due to varying oils. Apparently there are a few things that kick off allergic reactions that can be mistaken for cold sores and pimples can get infected and lead to bacterial infections that lead to severe ulceration or blisters on the lips... fun.
So I get to start digging through a haystack to find a culprit.
