would it actually stop the call from coming through, or just charge you a lot for it?

Had I not had my phone charged up with money, them calling back wouldn't even show. I wouldn't get a call, and they wouldn't be able to reach me

Also, didn't add the part where the gal I was talking about earlier was previously walking in the woods and was attacked. Her stumbling around was because of the blood loss from the walk

Her talking to me was about calling 911 which after seeing her leg, was a no brainer

As did I. Do accept my apologies for the earlier disturbance I caused. Celebrated exams a little too hard at the toga party and had a major hit of the feels. My bad!

New keyboard get! And it has a numpad and a pause key! Layout will take a bit of getting used to, but meh  :blah: Keyboard came with a mouse... didn't need a new mouse, but at least the keyboard and mouse together only take up one USB port.

Not sure I like the idea of transmitting my keystrokes wirelessly from the keyboard to the USB thingy... unless it's very short-range or encrypted, it seems like you could remote-keylog this thing... a bit troublesome. :nervous:

I knew it took two AA batteries and two AAA batteries, but I was surprised to find out that the bigger ones went in the mouse and the smaller ones went in the keyboard.

Well, think about it: which one has to send more data?

<MageKing17> How did this code ever work in the first place!?

Well, think about it: which one has to send more data?

if you look at their data rates, they are about the same and is a tiny fraction of what the transceiver pair can push. ive read the data sheets for about half a dozen short range rf chips. they use insanely little power, the leds on your keyboard use more power than the radios. mice usually have a super bright led (or laser) which can suck up current like crazy on your mouse.

Seconded. Wireless optical mice need a slightly beefier battery to power the laser diode/LED. Smarter ones know how to drastically dim the light source to detect just enough movement before going full blast.

So what about the whole transmitting-keystrokes-wirelessly thing? Cuz the batteries thing was just a curio, but the possibility of someone keylogging me is of (potentially) serious concern to me.
