Still, these graphics cards are pretty power-saving. HD 4650 took ~ 50W, HD 5770 takes 90W, while maintaining over 5 times more efficiency. Sweet .

The athlon 64 3200+ will not survive BF4 - I have a core 2 quad Q6600 and it's limiting BF4 performance - BF is very cpu intensive

you do know Athlon 64 3200+ is a single core 2.2 ghz SSE2 processor dont you? it dosnt matter what PSU you put in there you will be lucky to get BF4 to load let alone run at a playable speed

they came in 2 version, I had the 754 the other was the Socket 939 which was later used for the Athlon 64 X2 which also had AM2 varients

Very soon, actually! I shall update thread nearer to my departure date, but at this stage I should be arriving in Portland on the 9th of January. I finish studies on 9th of May and have a valid visa until 9th of June so I'm seriously considering some kind of a HLP road trip, if there's enough interest. It'd be good to catch up and talk BP!

2.0 GHz. Socket 969. I think i will buy a new mainboard and processor and sell the old ones instaed throwing 'em out through the window.
