This is a very small drone, only 7 meters long (If that's way too small I can scale it up)  Not much of a threat individually but dangerous in swarms.  Now I just have to get Truespace and learn how to texture.

To be honest I think it can serve as a drone. It even has what seems to be a "computer head".

Good to see a ship that isn't the regulation size. Imagine having a swarm of really crappy fighters flying around you...and it looks better than the Amazon drone by far. About the detail you put on it -  will this just be a texture or actual detail?

It reminds me of one of the Shiva fighters in INFR1...the one based off the Jotun.

The Shivan bomber based on the Jotun was the Kahlan. Though personally I don't see that much of a resemblance besides the bottom fin and the two missile bays.

Looks like Google SketchUp, which franky isn't very good for actual in-game models since it creates buggy geometry.

Just get Sketchup, It's the easiest modeling program there is.  As for it being blocky, I've gotten dissaproval for that before, I just like blocky ships.  (besides, it's based on drawings I made and blocks are easier to draw   )

I feel that blocky ships are useful as early Terran ships.

You hardly need aerodynamics in space, if a fighter is purely developed for space, I'd think the focus would be on making it hard to hit and making it stealthy. And for stealth a more blocky design makes much more sense than curves.

I think I'll upload it to FSMods.  Needs a name though.  Help me think of a name and I'll put it up.  Then someone can convert it and mabe give me a baseline UV map to work with.
