MSS makes a funny choking noise when it tries to pronounce "Soyuz" (INFR1). probably the same thing happens with "Soif".

I highly doubt I'd be able to get enough precision with hand tools and a drill press to be able to make a good quality lathe
in fact, often its more expensive to try to build one from raw materials.  Unless you have access to a high-grade junkyard where you can salvage parts from

the hardest part would be the "table" everything is on itself
because well, nothing can beat a ton and a half of strong steel shaped for the purpose

Actually, seasoned ton and a half of strong steel shaped for the purpose

I tried it out with my PC's Microsoft Sam, and it came out the same way.

"Soif" is pronounced as "swarf", and that isn't very difficult to pronounce properly. By rights, your voice should not go hoarse when you pronounce it, but when it comes to Microsoft Sam... :wtf:

Is the "soy" thing a glitch?
Since I know the "crotch" turning into "crow's nest" is probably intentional.

Maybe, but I'm not sure, because I don't like using Microsoft Sam. In fact, I prefer the Office Assistant over him.
