BOTF was ok, but the combat was terrible (not that that was the point of the game but still...) and it suffered bad memory leaks on my machine which made playing for more than an hour without a reboot impossible.

Mig alley

I bought it w/ 2 other games on the cheap, thniking it would be interesting to have a (highly rated) proper flight sim.

It's crap.  There's no collision detection on the ground(?!), there's no zoom in the cockpit, so the enemy fighters are tiny and nigh impossible to hit, and there's no useful HUD options.  Ok, realisims good, but funs' better. :sigh:

I personally haven't bought any crap games. I have enough sense to at least read a few reviews before bying one.

But out of all games I've played... Prince of Persia 3D. Utter tripe. A close contender would be Cutthroat Island for the Genesis. Outdated even when it was released.

No wait, E.T for the Atari 2600. EVIL!

I'm not really sure... if I have played a game that was real crap... it must have been really bad since I can't remember it :doubt:

For the PC anyway. I was extremely disappointed. With all the features and gameplay elements in every other 3rd Generation FPS, I would have thought that RF would be a new 4th Gen game. I really didn't like it.

Yup... played it, was able to win quite a lot actually... but never bothered with multi-player... games took way too long without saving. Overall I think it was nicely balanced, however it still sucked in my opinion, the 3D battles were... horrible.

It really did take forever to do anything, and when you sped up the time compression then everything happened too fast and you couldnt respond quick enough
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

as far as i see it, red faction seemed a little rushed, i mean compare it to the likes of the new generation of FPS's, as much as i hate to say it, RF doesn't hold a candle to the likes of RTCW or MoH: Allied assault, or the upcoming new generations of  Unreal, it needed work, in other words, console ports are bad mmkay.

I liked Force Commander.

You want the worse game: Starship Creator! (and the Deluxe version and the Warp II version My god that is bad! It makes you wonder if it was ever tested before it was released.

Please note the only reason I have 'Starship Creator Warp II' is that is I brought DS9:The Fallen in a double pack with it, the pack cost £20. If I brough DS9:The Fallen on its own, it cost £30. Work that out if you can.

I never played the PC version of RF but was not very impressed by the PS2 version. MOH:AA is an awesome game, and Unreal 2 looks like it is going to be great as well...;)

Maybe even the publishers realized what a bad game it was and decided to give a discount to those who had to go through the experience of playing it.:p
