Yeah, you know universal sufferage, abandonment of slavery and mostly of imperialism and a population that virtually never goes hungry is a sign of real problems.

Yes, because driving a car definitely isn't the most practical method of transportation in Alaska. I mean, it's probably only a few hundred miles, why not walk? 

There's a fine line between killing the environment for the sake of killing the environment even more and killing the environment a little in order to save the environment a lot.

My logicality with it was that i could see the protesters need the oil from anwar too.

Only if you assume you need oil from that specific refuge.

If however you realize that really there isn't that much oil there, and that even without it we'd all still probably have gas, it makes a little more sense.

Honestly I'd support drilling in the refuge because from what I've heard, it'd have minimal impact on... anything.
