I just bought Freespace 1 for 2€ ;) but it turned out to be worth at least 20× more :). Now my Q is : would anyone still play FS1 mods? (Since i can't get FS2).

Not many but check on the Hosted Forums (Freespace Conversion to be exact). Some people are porting all the FS1 stuff to FS2 so anything you made in FS1, they would probably port it to FS2 anyway.

Welcome!:)

Most people play FS2 these days but it can found for quite cheap if you look around a bit. (it can be hard to find, but the copies that are out there are inexpensive)

FS2 is pretty darn cheap these days, I'm surprised you didn't see the FS1/FS2 pack. The only thing that I'm having trouble hunting down is 'silent threat'.

Either way, there are lots of existing mods and I'd say that most ppl have FS1 so if you are thinking of making a new mod then go right ahead. :nod: There are plenty of talented people here that may be able to give you some pointers on whatever it is you need to know.
Before you start you should know that this is HLP and we are exceptionally strict when it comes to one thing: you MUST have fun!!. No exceptions to this clause ;)

What mod? I only see freespace 2 mods in your link and I only have FS1 :sigh: .

BTW : If I would make a campaign for FS1 would anyone still play it or not?

Look at the $10 rack at Wal-Mart. Thats where I got FS1 and ST. They were in the pack together.

I would play any freespace mods or campaign:cool:

 but you must get FS2 , if you like FS1 you will love FS2 and with all campaigns and mods in production, you will be blown away  ;7

FS2 is quite easy to find. just go to Amazon. Seriously, that's where I got my new copy (the old one was too scratched)
