Judging by the survey and the post you left, one must logically conclude that the findings will be full of errors. The mistake in presenting the survey was to market it in a subtle fashion. Sure you did not post it as "HEY B5 will come out if you fill this out!!!!" in those explicit words. You did however prove you had a personal stake in the survey by asking members to refer you in a box. When i say you "marketed this survey" I mean you willingly chose individuals who would already have a preconcived notion or biased opinion on whether this game gets published. In order to conduct an "Accurate" Survey you must therefore reach out to the entire "population" which is actually "Software shoppers as a whole" then and only then can you conduct a "Sample" of the population by means of a survey and gather accurate data. Many of these hard core space sim fanatics will buy any game that says "star" or "wars" in the same sentance anyways. Perhaps your organizations survey is the same as conducting a sample survey on the population of kids age 4-10 on whether they like candy? I'm sure you'll find suprising results in your favor showing the majority of children like candy:) I rest my argument, personally i have no personal stake or gain from the results and have no opinion on the publishing of the "game in question." Feel free to question my argument or flame me, I will check the responses in a few days.
