Broke the cable of my HD600s. It endured rough handling for six years, so can't really complain, but it appears I need to order a replacement from Germany. 50eur with delivery :hopping:

My headphones which I use for the sound system to my PC just started crackling.  For a second it sounded like one of the messages that the Transcendant sends.  Wierd.

It did it again.   :nervous: :shaking:

Maybe you should just go ahead and shoot that bastard already. Or check your sound hardware. Or something.

I watched the X-Men box set, opinions ranged from Meh to Hmmm...

Iron man was better, but not enough explosions and a crummy ending.

Thank goodness I didn't watch Iron Man then. If the ending is bad, don't expect me to like the film. :p

I found it crummy, but you might not, it's not a bad movie, just like the comics though, no-one cares about Tony Stark when he's Tony Stark, stick him in the damn suit and blow stuff up already.

I didn't mind the ending, it's as if the main climax was before the ending though. The very end was alright IMO :)

Well, if you mean the very very end, yes, that looked promising, but that's nothing really to do with the rest of the movie ;)

I just realised the stupidity of that statement.....

The concept of rising and falling action is foreign to me :P
But by that I meant the boss battle at the end, that climax...wasn't really a climax IMO, when he shacked the mercenary camp felt more like it though

Concur, the opening parts of the movie were better. Grittier and more moving.

I thought the 'Middle East' setting was a wee bit corny, I can understand why it was done, but it did make the film smell just a little of propaganda in places.

Especially the very beginning, when the convoy gets hit, people would've blown sunshine up it's ass if the whole movie had been like that.

I thought it set the scene for a modern-warfare kind of scene, rather than alienating states which weren't previously enemies to the prime viewing audience of the movie. If it was South America I just don't think it would've worked, as an example.

Oh don't get me wrong, I understand the reasons, and agree that it worked well, and was acted well, but the cynical side of me couldn't help noticing at the time.
