Ok so it might sound like a total Facebook ripoff - which it probably is - but I still signed up and created an HLP group.  It's a new service that's looking for members so come on by and sign up at Gamersbook.com.  I really wanted to put this in General Freespace and Gaming but I'm doing my best to refrain from spamming.  But srsly, sign up.  We could easily become the biggest group on there if everyone joined the HLP group I made.  Besides, this is way less offensive than the Gillette Fusion Power Gamer razor.

So how does this thing work relative to facebook?

It's just a general gamer community.  It's a pretty new site so I thought it'd be cool if we were one of the first groups to set up a presence of some sort on it.  Could be a way to reach out to many other gamers and show them how awesome we are.  The biggest group currently has less than 60 members, if we got enough of us we could be the biggest group on there for a while

It's not HLP2, it's a place for anyone to socialize with _other_ gamers, who haven't even necessarily heard of FS2, and possibly enlighten then.  If you don't even understand any of the appeal of Facebook, either now or before it got kinda retarded, I understand.  But if you like Myspace or Facebook or any other social network like that, it might be worth at least checking out.
