Occasionally i download movie, but i keep it temporarily just because it was an old classic like kentucky fried movie or something that i wanted to watch and is hard to get. Most things i keep temporarily, i watch it once, or i play it once, and it's out of there. Most of the time because stuff isn't worth keeping these days.
As for games. I've never actually pirated those before. Then again i found the demos of certain games to be really fun that i'd just by the game. Star trek voyager elite force, the fs series, and unreal tournament 2003 were games i actually bought that were really fun.
These days actual games haven't interested me at all. The only game i have is orange box, i did have fear, but my friend kept it. Games like openarena, urban terror, and frozen bubble is all that i spend my time with and it's great. I can distribute it freely too.
Then again now that i'm reviewing things. I really shouldn't have bought windows vista just to mess around with it for a possible gaming computer os. All the games i play are cross platform and should have rather downloaded the windows vista 180 trial for free.
Why pirate windows anyway if you reinstall twice a year or more? Just get the 180 day trial repeatedly for free.
And although it's not stealing if you download tv episodes that you have already aired, but i now support such services as hulu even with commercials. The commercials are a lot less obnoxious than the time wasting ones on tv and much less frequent. I can just stream any episode i like in dvd quality just about any time i want without waiting for a whole season of hd quality episodes to finish. Is the hd better? Sure it is, but dvd quality on demand is a pretty ****ing good deal. Mainly i just want to watch the stuff and get it over with.
