TSR = thesimsresource.com, a custom content paysite with horrible content and horrible personalities. (Also in bed with EA)
MTS2 = modthesims2.com, a custom content freesite with generally good quality stuff, some of it's poor newbew stuff, some of it is absolutely wonderful.

Yes, poor person got caught in the middle of all of it.

It would be like if someone were to copy TBP or Saga or etc.... and sell it, totally ignore the EULA (which is part of the Sims EULA, commerical use is prohibited, even though they themselves turn a blind eye)

BTW Thoma$  is the Derek Smart of Sims.  :lol:

Yup, there's enough idiots out there....

Worse yet the pay stuff is usually crap.  They go so far as photoshop it to make it look better than what it really is.

I've never had to go to a paysite. MTS2 pretty much has everything you'd ever want. Really crappy stuff doesn't stay there for long if there's better versions...

I don't play Sims, because I'd much rather be blowing people up than helping them live their lives but ... Yeah, we're pretty damn lucky this don't happen on any FS2 site.

One of the reasons I like sims is there's no pressure, usually.  It's kinda a relaxing game, not an aderline game.  Also when you've got a lot of sims invited over it's kinda fun watching how they all interact with each other.
