April Fools by Volition
Thought this was pretty great. It's worth looking at the white-board as well.

I saw a Freespace poster in the backround and "FS3 Release date" on the whiteboard. :D

Re: April Fools by Volition
I actually saw more Freespace references than any other :v: game (Other than Red Faction of course). As well as the boxed set and the whiteboard comment there was a poster in the office.

There was the game box on the guy's desk at the end.
Decent poster was next to other Freesppace poster.

Could all those references mean something? Perhaps I should scrutinize this video further...

Nah. Just shows they haven't forgotten about FS.

I honestly hope the Ostrich hammer ends up in-game. The sound effect it makes is amazing.

I thought they gave up on Red Faction and were just cranking out Xbox games?

The Ostrich hammer will be available as a Multiplayer unlockable when the game ships in June! This isn't all though, because over the next few weeks, we're going to have a ton of new information here about multiplayer including more hammer unlocks, new modes, the amount of changes we made based on your feedback during the MP beta (A LOT), and a few other MP surprises. So stay tuned and keep checking back for more or we'll have to ostrichcize you!

Fantastic.

Definitly the best april fool this year. Especially compared to the rest on Gametrailers there.

Heh, http://blog.wired.com/games/2009/04/volition-makes.html

I stumbled on this quite out of the blue, but good on them for actually going through with it as well. Nice to see a Dev. having a bit of fun.
