Some of the recent discussions have me wondering about what sort of formal education people have.  So, if you're comfortable, post your highest level of education attained and (if applicable) your primary areas of study.  Here's mine as an example:

B.Sc and B.A.

I will be taking an associate's degree in business or something when I get into college next year, and then once I transfer to a college with an actual computer science program I'll get my bachelor's degree in that.

me im a fully qualified circus teacher and youth worker and have started studying for a degree in engineering and start a structural fabrication and design(in metal) in september , the engineering degree will take for ages though as im doing it as i can afford it with the open university (UK) so maybe in 6 years or so lol but other than that i will be a qualified welder and machinist in one years time

BA in music with a minor in philosophy (in about four weeks.) Interests include musical ontology, music and temporality, aesthetics of the early Baroque, religious music of the 20th century, and interaction between music and other art forms. Composers of general interest include Satie, Ravel, Messiaen, La Monte Young, Arvo Pärt, Steve Reich, and George Crumb. Lately I've also felt a serious pull towards psychedelic folk.

Grade 10 education with honors, hoping to go for Canadian officer training and flight school, a masters in mechanical engineering.

I act it on occasion   To balance out the grades

Nice, I was considering doing something similar, except the RAAF. I've got a Book in .pdf form about pilot selection/training that I purchased for $30 which I can send you if you want. Mental math is a big one, you'll do MUCH better than someone whose done Calculus and got honours in Physics and Chem if you can ace the Pilot Apptitude test. I don't know about over there (they should be similar, they're systems are both based of the RAF to some extent, and Canadian flyers can join the RAAF through lateral recruiting or whatever it's called, so I'm sure they are), but the most complex stuff you find in the maths test they give you is some very basic calculus, however it's all about speed.

If you could send me the book it'd be superb, the rest about the mental math/Chem/Phys is great as those are my strong points.

I'm a grade above ALL OF YOU! (senior and graduating in 5 weeks. I never thought I'd be counting the days, but I never realised how sick I am of this broken educational system).
